DAY1: ARRIVE VIENTIANE
Upon arrival
at Wattay airport or the Friendship Bridge, pick up and transfer
to hotel. Afternoon visit to Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple
still standing in Vientiane. Wat Ho Prakeo, once the home to the
revered Emerald Buddha. That Luang Stupa reputed to hold a
sacred relic of the Lord Buddha. Pratuxai Victory Gate from
which views of the surrounding city can be had. and drive to the
of Vientiane 24 Km to see the Buddha park Accommodation at hotel
(B/L/D)
DAY02: VIENTIANE -
VANGVIENG - XIENG KHUANG
Drive 200 km via route
13 north to Phou Khuon and turn onto route 7 to Phonsavan, Xieng
Khouang. Overnight hotel accommodation (B/L/D)
DAY03: XIENG KHUANG
Tour of the
Plain of Jars 01, 02 & 03 then visit bomb hole surrounding in
the city. Examine 35 year old bomb craters, legacy of past
warfare. Overnight hotel accommodation (B/L/D)
DAY04: XIENG
KHUANG – LUANG PRABANG BY ROAD 262KM/4-5HRS
After ABF drive directly
to Luang Prabang and on the way stop to visit some of minorities
villages along the road 13Nouthern. On arrival transfer to hotel
and if time permit we sightseeing around LPQ such as: Visit
Phousi Mountain, King Palace, Wat Mai, Wat Aham and Mong Night
market then overnight in Luang Prabang (B/L/D)
DAY 05: FULL
DAY TOUR IN LUANG PRABANG
Today, we enjoy a short
guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple and the magnificent
Wat Xieng Thong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, which
represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We
then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River which also
gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as
an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou caves, crammed
with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various
shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban
Xang Hai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we
take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand
weaving. Evening time flight back to Vientiane by QV108 19: 10 –
19:55PM (B/L/D)
DAY06:
VIENTIANE – DEPARTURE BY FLIGHT
After breakfast, free for
last minute shopping until time transfer to Wattay airport for
departure (B/-/-).
